I recently photographed Kerry who is in the military and wanted to do some portraits for family as gifts this Christmas. But, he neglected to share with me that he has a pretty sweet collection of Tuskegee Airman items. So, he found the Mural located in West Philly of the Tuskegee Airman and we hammered out a pretty amazing shot to add to his collection. Oh, and Kerry doesn’t think he looks good with his hat on? Ladies… any remarks? Thanks to all those serving in our military keeping us safe.

One of the great things about Arequipa is its constant deep blue sky and the surrounding mountains. This speaks for itself. To see a more detailed view of this panorama (be sure to zoom in) click here. I’m sure going to miss the Summer in the south while I’m freezing here in Philly.

Since the winter is almost in full effect and right around the corner, and wedding season has closed it’s doors, I will be posting some of my favorite photos from the past every few days. There will be all kinds of photos from Peru, weddings, personal images, etc. This is Davy, the Great Dane Lab mix who lives at New Hope Children’s Home in Arequipa, Peru. Davy is a bit looney, but she’s a great dog. I swear she isn’t as sinister as she appears in this photo. Keep in touch for more.

This past sunday Patricia, Jason and I braved the cold to have some fun! However, you can only stay outside for so long until you can no longer feel your hands, ears and feet. So we decided to head in and see some art and shoot some stealth photos on a super busy day at the Art Museum. The first sunday of the month is free to enter or donate your own amount day. How great is that!? We shot their engagement portraits inside the Philadelphia Art Museum. We had a couple smiles, and a couple hairy eyes shot our way. Boo to the hairy eyes. Hey everyone, I just joined an artist co-op! I’ve got work space out of the house! Hurray! Those days are over and I’ve moved in with the best people in the world anyone could ask to work with. There is a variety of people in Part Time Studios all with amazing arts to share.
We just had our first in house gallery show on Friday, December 4th. We had a ton of people come in, I sold two pieces of work, and two Fishtown books. We are working on a website where you will find our work for sale, but until it’s finished, you can visit the temporary site. Click here for Part Time Studios. Thanks to everyone who came out and toured the space and supported us. We had a wonderful night and a bunch of part timers had successful sales.
