This photo taken by Abel T. and won the coveted prize of best photo of the day. Abel is another teenager who only recently arrived here at New Hope about a month or so ago. Much like his two older brothers, Avelino and Efrain, Abel is also very courteous and quiet. But put him with his buds, and he breaks out of his shell in order to have a great time. I think that’s probably the story with most people who are shy. I remember that was my case as a kid. Regardless of how shy Abel can be around adults, when you put a camera in his hands, he is extremely talented in finding interesting photographs, like the one above. I would say this photograph was not a happy accident, but in fact pure genius. Why do I think that? Why shouldn’t I think that? Maybe that’s the question you need to ask yourself.
