Nobody is perfect, and that includes you, me, and, yes, even Jorge. Sometimes, he gets a bit frustrated with school work, gets into things he probably shouldn’t, and has picked up some bad habits before arriving at the home. But these are all things we know about, since we’ve all been kids, and all these things can be straightened out with a little bit of guidance and love. Jorge has a very curious mind and personality. So when you have a very active mind, you need to put it to work. We’ve been putting his curiosity and brain power to good creative use by keeping him occupied with a camera. Whenever Jorge goes out to shoot pictures, he always brings back photos that make you want say “wow.” And this photo is a perfect example.

This photograph was taken by Jorge. Jorge was given the nick name “Jorge el Curioso,” or Curious George, in english. He is always wanting to see what you’re doing, and he is just always interested in how things work. I would say his curiosity is off the charts. So, with that said, I think we’ve found something to satisfy that curiosity of his for a while.
I think Jorge has a natural eye for finding interesting things. For one of his first projects, he was to find geometric shapes and interesting lines. Without any coaching from me, I would say that about 50% of his photos are compositionally interesting. He gets close to the subject, his photos are typically abstract, and, to top it all this off, he loves shooting pictures. Even when he isn’t scheduled for class, he is inquiring if he can use a camera again. I think we’ll see a lot of Jorge’s work in the future. And I just realized that Jorge has been in most of my photos in past posts as well. Enjoy.
