A very funny couple got married at the Welkinweir Estate in Pottstown. Their names are Emilia and Arvin and all day they had me in stitches, but I should say all day, that’s not completely true. During their ceremony they almost had me in tears (but I wouldn’t have been alone, people were crying all over the place, dropping like flies they were). Their ceremony was very touching and their whole wedding day was quite splendid, I must say. The JIHM Booth brought their shenanigans to an already humorous day with their crazy photo set. You can see Emilia and Arvin’s JIHM Booth photos here. And if all these images aren’t enough, you can view two more from their sneak peak post here.

David and Kristen’s wedding was a blast!!! And what make’s parties even more fun than people gettin’ hitched? I don’t know, Let me know think… hmmmm…. PHOTOBOOTHS!!!! Heck yeah, especially when you through a little competition in there. The two categories were Crazy and Lovely. The first is the Lovely winner. They put in some humor and some lovin’ and kept it lovely. The second one (obviously crazy) was a hard decision, but these guys pulled through with the win. So there you go. Winners, your next step is to contact me and we’ll set up your free session. Let’s do this thing! If I don’t hear from you with in a month, I will be forced to hunt you down and shoot pictures of you from a far, and send the photos to you in the mail to fulfill competition requirements. JUST KIDDING! Enjoy!
This next one was absolutely hilarious to watch as it unfolded. That’s Dave at the bottom in the last photo. Priceless. (By the way, the sign says “Raise your hand if you were scared of Dave.”)
It’s hard to feel like you’re working when you get to be in the photos. In addition to that, when have amazing bosses it makes work amazing! Thank you Dave and Kristen! Wedding photos to follow soon! (By the way, the sign says “We should be working. (IT)”.
Sign of the times. Never gets old until it’s old.
They should get a tatoo!
Did I also mention I really like making photographs that are hard to tell what the subject is? I think they’re my favorite way to shoot artistic photographs. Edward Weston is really well known for his photographs of vegetables, or most notably his pepper photograph which looks nothing like a pepper.
Step one: If you’re a man of the hunting gathering type, this should be self explanatory. If not, follow the photograph steps below.
Step two: Show her a bit of love. While you can’t see the love inside the box pictured below, you know you can feel it.
Step three: Wait for the right time pop the question and make her yours.
Step four: Get married and celebrate that love! (hint: I like photographing weddings)
Ok, so maybe it’s not that easy. Trust me. I know. But this sequence of photos showing off a different “ring shot” is a small example of the way I like to shoot weddings. Fun and creative. And remember I can’t do it without you. So get married.
